CBP announces designated motorcycle entrance at San Ysidro Port of Entry

San Diego- U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials at the San Ysidro Port of Entry are announcing the implementation of a newly designated motorcycle entrance to improve traffic flow and enhance operational efficiency for the traveling public. 

Beginning Tuesday, September 8 at 4 a.m., motorcycle operators entering the San Ysidro Port of Entry must utilize the designated entrance located near Lane 15. This entrance will operate Monday through Friday from 4 to 10 a.m. This initiative supports CBP’s ongoing commitment to enforcing legitimate travel and improve the overall processing experience for travelers entering the United States through the San Ysidro Port of Entry.

CBP reminds all travelers to follow posted signage and officer instructions when approaching and entering the port. Motorcycle operators are asked to safely comply with the new guidance to support an orderly flow of traffic
