Progressing through the day Friday, frequent rain shower activity will be continuing before decreasing in the late afternoon although a few showers look to linger through the evening before tapering off around midnight. Under steadier rainfall, ponding of water will be possible on roadways. There will also be a chance for an isolated thunderstorm or two across the area within some showers, where the main concerns would be locally heavier rainfall and an isolated lightning strike or two. Winds will also be a little breezy, with gusts up to 20-25 mph at times with 30 mph gusts possible as well. Saturday then provides a stark contrast with dry weather, mild winds, and no concerns.

Dry weather looks to continue through the remainder of the weekend and into early next week, with a return to showery conditions on Tuesday. Wednesday then looks to stay dry, with a few showers then expected on Thursday. Not seeing any significant wind concerns within the extended outlook. Afternoon highs will continue to top out in the 60s as well.
